Logan's Blessing
We blessed Logan last weekend, and has lots of family over for the blessing. It was so much fun to have all of the family over! My sister even came out to finally see the house, and of course to meet my special little guy.
All the kids were just so excited to get to hold him
All the Price Grandkids
David had to work in the bay area for a couple days, we Logan and I went along so we could take Logan to meet all my family in the bay area. Here is a picture with my Dad, Grandma Rose and my sister. It was a lot of fun to go see everyone with Logan -- I'd have to say he did wonderful in the car for the trip there and around town.

Welcome Logan David!
Logan David Price was born on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 8:20pm. He weighed 8 lbs and 13 oz, at 20 1/2 inches long. He was a tough little guy to bring into this world, but worth all of it!
I was induced, and in labor for 36 hours, tried pushing him out for 3 hours and had to end up getting a c section. As it turns out, he was in the wrong position and there was no way he was coming out on his own. We are both doing great, and he is just perfect!

Can you believe it?
I am due to deliver my first child in 8 days! 8 days!!! We are both so excited, and nervous. For me, it's amazing to see how our lives have ended up together. David and I met when we were just 14 years old. I have to say it is amazing that the father of my child is someone who has been a close friend for so long. I can't wait to see what a great Dad he is going to be!

Honey, may you rest in peace...

Wednesday was a very sad day for David and I, in the morning when David left to go to work he found our kitty. She hadn't come home the night before, and all night I kept checking for her on the porch after my many trips to the bathroom. I knew something wasn't right because she always came home when we called for her.
We laid her to rest that morning in our backyard. Some may think we are silly to be so sad over a pet, but to us she was more than just that. She was the first addition to our family, and a loyal friend who brought us so much joy and laughter. She kept me company all day long while David was at work. She was truly one of a kind, I have never known a pet with so much personality. We had so much love for our kitty, and will cherish all the memories of her.
Honey,
The entire neighborhood will miss your sweet personality and loving nature. Everyone who met you always mentioned you were the coolest cat they had ever come across. You left an imprint on everyones heart. I've never had so many people ask me how my cat was doing, just like you were a person.
We will miss how you slept in the craziest positions.
We will miss how you loved to eat herbal supplements, and would jump up out of a dead sleep and race over when you heard us getting ours (and try to eat them from our hands!).
We will miss how you would hang out and keep us company in whatever room we were in.
David will miss wrestling around with you, and how you would wait for him to come around corners and pounce at him.
I will miss you trying to wake me up by giving the tip of my nose a lick and then sitting on my chest purring (sometimes meowing) loudly at me.
We will miss taking you on road trips, and how you loved to ride in the car and look out the window, just like a little dog.
But, most of all we will miss feeling your loving, playful little spirit in our home. You had more personality than some people, and we are grateful we had the chance to share of our love and home with you.
I am not sure where animal spirits go, but I would like to believe she is up in heaven somewhere having the time of her life...

Holy Cow!
At least that's what I'm feeling like these days! I am in my 9th month, weighing in at 140 lbs, with just 3 weeks to go until my due date. I am terrified of what is to come, but women have been doing this for centuries! (that's what I keep reminding myself) We are both excited to be parents, and kinna nervous too! We will be responsible for raising another person, which is a crazy concept to imagine, but nonetheless we can't wait.
We have almost everything ready and set up for our little baby. This weekend we put together the swing and bouncer, and went to buy all the little needed things like a thermometer, etc. This week I'm planning to get my labor & delivery bag packed so I'll be ready to go just in case. As far as the nursery, we just need to re-arrange the furniture how we want it and hang up a few things on the walls, I'll post a picture of it all set up once we're done.

I have also began to prepare our kitty for all the baby contraptions so she can be used to them by the time we bring the baby home. She is a very curious little thing, so I'd rather her check them out now before the baby is inside them. So far she has done great, she hasn't tried to jump into the crib or anything for that matter, so I think we'll be good to go. The swing kinna freaked her out, she circled it for a while and then she just sat there staring at it until I turned it off.

4th of July fun!
David's Family came out for the weekend to spend the 4th with us. We had lot of fun, we took the Moala girls to Wild Water Adventure Park on Friday. It felt so nice to float around in the water with my preggy belly and watch the girls enjoy the kiddie slides.

On Saturday morning our ward had their annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast. They had a little flag ceremony, parade and snow cones for the kids. It was such a beautiful morning to have breakfast in the park.

We had some amazing BBQ and Homemade Ice Cream for dessert, and of course, the 4th of July is not complete with out a fireworks show! We didn't end up going to watch the big show nearby, but we enjoyed watching the ones we had in the front yard.

We found Calvin Tuesday morning in the bathroom, with the trash can emptied into the toilet. I hope David and I are ready for this kind of stuff! :)
